Mumbai, Nov. 5 -- Newmark India has completed its first year of operations, strengthening its presence in the country's commercial real estate sector. The company has established its leadership and operational framework, expanded across key markets and secured mandates from a diverse client base.

Entering its second year, Newmark India plans to accelerate sustainable growth through integrated services, technology adoption, talent development and stronger client partnerships. The company aims to combine Newmark's global expertise with local market knowledge to serve occupiers, investors and developers.

Sathish Rajendren, Country Head RE & EMD, PM & FM - India & APAC, said, "Our first year was about building a strong foundation for Newmark in India. We have established our presence, built a strong team and, most importantly, earned the trust of our clients. As we enter our second year, our focus is to build on that foundation through deeper client partnerships, stronger capabilities and consistent execution."

The company's expansion comes amid rising demand for commercial real estate driven by Global Capability Centres (GCCs), manufacturing, life sciences, industrial and logistics facilities, and data centres. Increasing emphasis on sustainability, workplace experience and operational efficiency is also reshaping real estate requirements.

Newmark India intends to strengthen the integration of its Property & Facilities Management, Project Management, Occupier Solutions and advisory services, offering clients comprehensive support throughout the real estate lifecycle.

Technology will be central to its growth strategy, with plans to expand the use of data analytics, automation and artificial intelligence for predictive maintenance, asset optimisation and improved workplace experiences. Sustainability initiatives will focus on measurable improvements in energy efficiency, water conservation and waste management.

The company will also invest in leadership development, workforce capabilities and operational processes while strengthening collaboration across Newmark's global and Asia-Pacific network.

Looking ahead to 2027, Newmark India aims to position real estate as a strategic business enabler by delivering integrated solutions, enhancing operational performance and building long-term client relationships.
