Mumbai, Sept. 28 -- LCC Projects rose 3.09 per cent to Rs. 147.55 on 25 September after emerging as the lowest bidder for a Rs. 6.53 bn irrigation project in Rajasthan. The company said the contract was awarded by the Chief Engineer, Water Resources Zone, Kota, Rajasthan.
The project involves construction of the Chhoti Kalisindh Medium Irrigation Project using a sprinkler system powered by solar energy. The work will be undertaken at Chhoti Kalisindh and Chahurni River in Gangdhar, Jhalawar, Rajasthan, and will be executed on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), single-responsibility turnkey basis.
The contract, valued at Rs. 6.53 bn including goods and services tax, is scheduled for completion within 36 months from the effective date. The project is expected to strengthen the company's presence in irrigation and water infrastructure in the state, although the award remains subject to the applicable contractual process.
LCC Projects was listed on the stock exchanges on 17 September 2026. Its shares debuted at Rs. 191.90 on the BSE, representing a 31.44 per cent premium over the issue price of Rs. 146. The initial public offering received bids for 1,015,200,000 shares against 5,443,000 shares on offer.
Promoted by Arjan Suja Rabari and Laljibhai Arjanbhai Ahir, LCC Projects is a multidisciplinary EPC company primarily engaged in irrigation and water supply projects. For the 12 months ended 31 March 2026, it reported consolidated net profit of Rs. 2.87 bn and sales of Rs. 36 bn.
