Mumbai, Sept. 15 -- Enviro Infra Engineers has secured an order valued at Rs 1,899.9 million (mn) for the development of a 180 Megawatt (MW) NTPC wind project by its subsidiary Suyog Urja. The contract was awarded on September seven, 2026 according to an exchange filing and the company received formal intimation on September eight at 11.24 am. The agreement stipulates completion by March 31, 2027, imposing a relatively short execution period.
The scope includes construction of wind turbine generator foundations and the supply of reinforcement steel and the subsidiary will also undertake geotechnical work and balance-of-plant activities. The project will include a fully equipped and secure storage yard spread across 39 acres to support material handling and storage during construction. Suyog Urja will coordinate right-of-way arrangements to facilitate transportation of equipment and materials to the site.
The contract further covers the construction of permanent and temporary roads, pathways and crane pads to enable movement of heavy turbine components and deployment of large cranes. The subsidiary will execute construction and commissioning work for the project's 33 kilovolt transmission lines to evacuate electricity generated by the wind turbines. These works expand the practical execution requirements beyond the company's established environmental infrastructure activities.
The company has disclosed that neither its promoters nor promoter-group entities hold any interest in Tata Power Renewable Energy and the transaction does not qualify as a related-party dealing under the regulatory disclosure. The order is expected to strengthen Enviro Infra Engineers' presence in renewable-energy infrastructure and broaden its execution portfolio. The disclosure in the exchange filing forms the basis of this report and indicates operational and logistical demands tied to the accelerated timeline.
