Mumbai, Sept. 24 -- Current Infraprojects has received a Notification of Award from Bank Note Press, Dewas, for a 3 MW grid-connected rooftop solar project valued at Rs. 104.2 mn. The project is scheduled for completion within 240 days of the award and includes a 5-year operation and maintenance commitment.
The order was awarded by BNP, Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, with work commencing on 16 September 2026. The project will be developed in Behind the Meter mode at the bank note press facility and covers the installation of a grid-connected rooftop solar power system, along with operations and maintenance services for five years.
The company said the contract strengthens its position in the government and institutional rooftop solar segment. It also adds to its solar engineering, procurement and construction momentum, supports engagement with institutional clients and expands its execution footprint beyond its existing markets.
Current Infraprojects is a multidisciplinary EPC company operating across power distribution, railway electrification, utility shifting, water infrastructure and renewable energy. The company has 45+ certified engineers, centralised procurement, ERP-based project monitoring and an in-house NABL-accredited MEC Test House. Its solar EPC and RESCO portfolio includes commissioned plants supported by long-term power purchase agreements.
The project is expected to support the company's order book and revenue visibility while increasing its presence in government-led renewable energy infrastructure. For FY26, Current Infraprojects reported total income of Rs. 1.61 bn, EBITDA of Rs. 232.3 mn and net profit of Rs. 140.5 mn. The company said the new contract would complement its broader EPC operations and renewable energy portfolio.
