Mumbai, July 23 -- Artefact Projects has secured an order worth Rs 30.8 million (mn) from the National Highways Authority of India for supervision services on a highway project in Chhattisgarh. The contract award was announced by the company and will be executed in association with KCS Engineering. The company indicated the award will support its order book and reinforce its presence in the highway sector.
The assignment requires the firm to act as Supervision Consultant during the operation and maintenance phase of the four-lane Bilaspur-Urga section of NH-130A, covering design chainage 0.000 to 70.200 km from NH-49 near Dheka village to Bhiasma village. The contract value is Rs 30.8 mn and the execution period is 38 months. The supervision consultant role covers oversight of maintenance works, quality assurance and compliance monitoring and reporting.
The company clarified that the order does not constitute a related-party transaction and that neither its promoters nor members of the promoter group have any interest in the award. Artefact provides engineering, architectural and project management services for infrastructure projects, with a focus on highways and collaborations with international consultants and technical experts. Its global collaborations and experienced technical staff and dedicated management support its project delivery capabilities.
On a standalone basis the firm reported a sharp decline in net profit of 85.17 per cent to Rs 8.6 mn in the fourth quarter of FY26 from Rs 58.0 mn in the corresponding quarter last year, while revenue from operations rose 12.48 per cent year on year to Rs 143.3 mn during the quarter. Shares of Artefact Projects added zero point seven six per cent to Rs 56.70 on the BSE, reflecting modest market reaction to the order and quarterly results. The stock movement was modest and followed mixed financial indicators in the quarter.
