New Delhi, Sept. 8 -- Whatfix announced on September 8 that Kumar has been appointed chief executive officer, effective immediately. He succeeds Batti, with whom he co-founded the company in 2014.

The appointment gives Whatfix an internal succession at a time when the company is expanding its digital adoption business into areas including AI, analytics, simulation training and intelligent agents.

More importantly, Kumar is not stepping into an unfamiliar organization. He has been closely involved in shaping Whatfix's product and research strategy since its early years.
