New Delhi, Aug. 16 -- Schneider Electric has opened registrations for Yuva Yodha, a national energy technology hackathon aimed at getting students to develop solutions around some of India's emerging energy and sustainability challenges.

Registrations and idea submissions opened on August 15 and will remain open until October 4, 2026. The program is open to individuals as well as teams of up to four members.

Rather than focusing on a single technology, the hackathon is structured around four areas where energy efficiency, digitization and automation are increasingly intersecting: sustainable agriculture, smart buildings, grid reliability and renewable intermittency, and smart manufacturing.
