New Delhi, March 20 -- Samtel Avionics has announced plans to invest more than Rs.200 crore to expand into space technologies and drone manufacturing as part of its strategy to diversify its product portfolio over the coming years.

Samtel Avionics, part of the 50-year-old Samtel Group, develops advanced electronic systems for defence, aerospace, and railways.

With this expansion, the company said it is targeting an order book of Rs.1,000 crore, driven by opportunities across both domestic and international markets.
