New Delhi, July 3 -- Rockwell Automation and Cisco have announced a strategic collaboration in India aimed at advancing software-defined manufacturing, as the two companies look to combine industrial automation, networking infrastructure, and workforce skilling to support the country's digital manufacturing ambitions.

The partnership includes the launch of a Full-Stack Software-Defined Manufacturing reference design, a Software-Defined Manufacturing Demo Pod at Rockwell Automation's Gurugram facility, and a joint digital skills initiative for the manufacturing sector.
