PayU Launches Accessibility-Focused Checkout For Digital Payments
New Delhi, Aug. 14 -- PayU has launched an accessibility-focused payment checkout aimed at helping blind and visually impaired users complete online transactions with less dependence on sighted assistance.
The company said the new Accessible Payments Checkout is designed to comply with the Reserve Bank of India's October 2024 accessibility requirements and the BIS IS 17802 standard cited in the mandate.
The launch puts accessibility at the checkout stage, where users typically need to navigate payment methods, enter or confirm transaction details, and complete a payment.
