New Delhi, May 29 -- NPCI Bharat BillPay Limited (NBBL), a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), has crossed a major milestone in its e-challan payments service, processing more than one million transactions with a total value exceeding Rs.60 crore through Bharat Connect.

The achievement underscores the growing adoption of digital payment channels for civic services as citizens increasingly shift towards online platforms for paying traffic challans and other government-related dues.
