New Delhi, Oct. 9 -- NielsenIQ (NIQ) has appointed Puneet Sharma as Managing Director for India, effective September 30, 2026. Based in Mumbai, Sharma will oversee the company's commercial strategy and business operations, with responsibility for expanding its market presence, strengthening client relationships and advancing its consumer intelligence capabilities.

The appointment comes as NIQ increases its focus on retail measurement, digital commerce and data-driven consumer insights in India.
