New Delhi, April 15 -- Microsoft has introduced new capabilities in Microsoft 365 Copilot for Word that expand its role beyond basic writing assistance to handling more structured document workflows.

According to a company blog post, the updates allow Copilot to work across entire documents, helping users organise content, refine structure, and improve overall coherence rather than responding to isolated prompts. Taken together, the changes point to a gradual shift in how AI is being embedded into everyday enterprise software.
