Meta Reportedly Eyes Cred As Fintech Ecosystems Gain Value
New Delhi, June 22 -- According to reports, Meta is in discussions to invest in Bengaluru-based Cred at a valuation of around $4 billion. While neither company has officially confirmed the development, the reported talks come at a time when competition across digital payments, consumer finance, and platform ecosystems is intensifying.
India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) has transformed digital transactions, but market concentration remains significant.
