New Delhi, Sept. 16 -- Meta has introduced WhatsApp Business Tools MCP, allowing AI coding agents to handle parts of WhatsApp Business setup, configuration, and testing. The move points to a broader shift in how enterprises may interact with platform infrastructure.

For businesses using WhatsApp as a customer channel, getting the messaging layer running can involve more than writing code. Developers have to configure business accounts, connect phone numbers, register API access, create message templates, and set up webhooks.
