New Delhi, June 5 -- Meta has announced the global expansion of its AI-powered Business Agent across WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram, aiming to make automated customer engagement a core part of its messaging ecosystem.

Messaging has already become a primary customer engagement channel for many businesses. Consumers often prefer sending a message rather than making a phone call or submitting a support ticket.

Meta says more than one million businesses are already using Business Agents on WhatsApp and Messenger. The company also noted that more than one billion active conversations between businesses and customers take place daily across WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram.
