New Delhi, March 25 -- Keysight Technologies has started manufacturing operations in India, becoming the first test and measurement company to produce hardware locally. Its new facility in Chennai will cater to both domestic demand and global markets, marking a shift in how India is being positioned in high-tech value chains.

The move goes beyond capacity expansion. It reflects a broader recalibration where India is no longer just an R&D or engineering base but is beginning to take on more complex, precision-driven manufacturing roles.
