New Delhi, May 23 -- The Department of Electronics, IT, and Biotechnology, Government of Karnataka, has opened the 25th call under ELEVATE, its flagship grant-in-aid programme for startups. Applications open May 25, 2026, with grants of up to Rs.50 lakh for selected startups.

This year's edition marks a structural shift for the programme. For the first time, Karnataka is running all four ELEVATE tracks simultaneously, signalling a push to make state-backed startup funding more accessible across sectors, regions, and founder groups.

At a surface level, ELEVATE remains an early-stage grant programme designed to support startups during the prototype and proof-of-concept stage. Selected ventures receive one-time grants of up to Rs.50 lakh....
