New Delhi, May 13 -- As the frenzy around the Indian Premier League continues, cybersecurity researchers at CloudSEK have uncovered a sprawling cybercrime network exploiting cricket fans through fake ticketing portals and malicious streaming websites.

According to the company's latest investigation, cybercriminals created more than 600 fake IPL ticketing domains and over 400 fraudulent "free streaming" websites during the season, turning cricket's biggest tournament into a large-scale fraud opportunity.
