New Delhi, April 13 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate India's first quantum computing test beds in Amaravati on April 14, which is observed as World Quantum Day. The launch marks a concrete step in the state's efforts to build advanced technology infrastructure.
Two facilities will be set up under this initiative. The first is the 1Q test bed built by Qubitech at Medha Towers in Gannavaram, and the second is the 1S superconducting test bed at SRM University in Amaravati. Together, they form what officials are calling the Amaravati Quantum Reference Facility, making Andhra Pradesh the first state in India to have a dedicated quantum testing and certification setup.
