New Delhi, March 21 -- India's demand for AI professionals is projected to more than double from 6,00,000 to 6,50,000 roles in 2022 to over 1.25 million by 2027, according to Deloitte India report, as enterprises accelerate their shift from generative AI experimentation to full-scale agentic AI deployment. The pressure to build that workforce is mounting faster than most organisations are moving.
The gap is already visible.
