New Delhi, Aug. 10 -- GalaxEye has acquired Bengaluru-based spacecraft engineering company StarOps. The deal brings StarOps' satellite engineering team, spacecraft platforms and subsystem technologies into GalaxEye as the company works to expand its Earth observation capabilities.

StarOps traces its origins to TeamIndus, one of India's early private space ventures. Several members of its engineering team previously worked on the Lunar Lander and Rover at TeamIndus, according to the companies. StarOps was incorporated in 2022 with a focus on satellite platforms and the development of indigenous spacecraft technologies.
