New Delhi, July 16 -- AI software creation platform Emergent has raised $130 million in a Series C funding round, valuing the company at $1.5 billion and taking it into the unicorn club nearly a year after its public launch.

The round was led by Creaegis, with Claypond Capital and Sentinel Global joining as co-lead investors. Existing investors Khosla Ventures, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Lightspeed and Y Combinator also participated.

The latest round takes Emergent's total funding to $230 million. Its valuation has increased fivefold from the $300 million valuation reported during its $70 million Series B round in January 2026.
