New Delhi, May 25 -- Professionals from non-technical educational backgrounds accounted for 66% of enrolments in artificial intelligence (AI) programmes at Great Learning, an edtech platform, during FY26, reflecting growing workplace demand for AI-led upskilling beyond traditional technology roles.

The edtech company said a majority of these learners were experienced professionals, with nearly 64% having more than 12 years of work experience. The enrolments came from senior leaders and business heads across sectors including banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), healthcare, manufacturing, retail, education, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
