New Delhi, April 20 -- Databricks has appoints Simon Davies as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), as the company looks to scale its presence in one of its fastest-growing regions.
The appointment comes as Databricks reports more than 85% year-on-year growth in APJ in the fourth quarter, alongside continued expansion of its workforce and infrastructure. The company said it now employs over 1,500 people across the region and plans to move into a new 32,000-square-foot regional headquarters in Singapore later this year, significantly increasing its footprint.
