New Delhi, April 3 -- Data Security Council of India (DSCI), has appointed Neelam Dhawan as its new Chairperson effective April 1, 2026. Neelam joined the DSCI board in December 2025and now will serve as the Chairperson of the board. She is succeeding Promod Bhasin, Chairman, ICRIER and Founder, Genpact Ltd & Chairman, Clix Capital, who served as DSCI Chairman for three years from April 2023 to March 2026.

Neelam currently serves on the Board of Directors at Tech Mahindra Limited, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Fractal Analytics Ltd and Capita PLC. She is also the Chairperson of the Board of Ather Energy Limited and Capillary Technologies. She advises and mentors variousorganizations on business transformation.
