New Delhi, Aug. 24 -- CheQ has launched CheQ UPI. The Bengaluru-based credit card management platform said the service will allow users to make UPI payments through linked bank accounts and RuPay credit cards by scanning UPI QR codes across India's merchant network.

The move changes the role CheQ is trying to play in a user's financial routine. Instead of being primarily a destination for credit card payments, rewards, and credit information, it is entering the payment moment itself.

CheQ's business has largely been built around the management side of credit. Its platform brings together credit card bill payments, rewards, credit insights, and other credit-related services.
