New Delhi, April 28 -- Amazon is planning to scale its quick commerce service,Amazon Now, to100 cities across India. It's not just about faster deliveries; it's about how global giants are redrawing the map of convenience, supply chains, and local entrepreneurship in India's fast-growing digital economy.

Amazon has committed over Rs.2,800 crore to expand specialised fulfilment infrastructure, with plans for more than 1,000 micro-fulfilment centres. The company says this expansion will strengthen associate safety and well-being, while also connecting over 16,000 farmers directly to customers through its platform.
