New Delhi, Sept. 24 -- Akasa Air has appointed Abhishek Gupta as Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective September 2026.

Gupta brings more than 27 years of experience across IT strategy, service delivery, digital transformation, enterprise applications, infrastructure, security and technology operations.

As CIO, Gupta will oversee Akasa Air's technology function, including IT strategy, operations, service management, technology programs and digital initiatives.

His experience spans enterprise IT operations, technology product and partner evaluation, program management and engagement with senior business stakeholders. Over his career, he has worked across banking, manufacturing, telecom and media.
