New Delhi, Aug. 20 -- Software testing has already moved through several generations of automation, from scripted test cases to continuous testing and AI-assisted quality assurance. Agentic AI introduces a different proposition: systems that can interpret a testing objective, generate tests, execute them and adapt their approach as applications change.

That shift could change both how enterprise software is tested and the role of QA teams themselves. At the same time, testing AI-driven and probabilistic applications raises new questions around reliability, governance and where human judgement must remain in control.
