Mumbai, March 10 -- Hyundai has announced that the Venue has crossed the 1 lakh bookings milestone in India. Alongside the announcement, the carmaker has also introduced a new HX8 Diesel Automatic variant priced at Rs. 13.69 lakh, ex showroom.

The addition of this new variant expands the lineup by offering customers a diesel engine paired with an automatic transmission.

The new HX8 Diesel AT variant is powered by Hyundai's 1.5-litre diesel engine, paired with a six speed automatic transmission. It is tuned to produce 118bhp and 172Nm of peak torque.

Hyundai has equipped this new variant with front ventilated seats, dual-tone leatherette upholstery with 'Venue' branding, and a four-way electrically adjustable driver seat.
