Mumbai, Aug. 24 -- Kapur has also been redesignated as founder, managing director and chief executive officer of the company.

Kapur was appointed as the managing director and chief executive officer for a three-year term with effect from 27 June 2024, with his existing tenure scheduled to expire on 26 June 2027.

Gunender Kapur holds a bachelor's degree in engineering with honours from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Delhi. He has over 42 years of experience in management and investment in the consumer and retail sectors. Previously, he was associated with Hindustan Lever, Unilever Nigeria PLC, Reliance Industries and TPG Capital.
