Mumbai, Sept. 29 -- The US treasury yields continued to edge higher as as investors worried that persistent inflation would lead to rate increases from the Federal Reserve. The benchmark 10-year Treasury note yield ended Monday above 5.2%, near levels not seen since 2007. The 30-year approached 5.60%-mark, nearing, 2004 high. The market is now eying a number of critical speeches from the US monetary policy authorities and 10-year Treasury yield is holding at at 5.23%. FOMC Members Barr, Goolsbee, Musalem, Williams and Waller are due to speak later on today.
