US 10-year Treasury yields hit three-year high, US job openings rise impressively
Mumbai, Sept. 2 -- US 10-year Treasury yields have zoomed up today, hitting around three-year high of 4.81% amid soaring crude oil prices and firm cues on the economic front. The US labor market recorded 7.27 million job openings in July, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Tuesday, marking a modest rise from a revised 7.18 million the prior month. Layoffs and discharges dropped to 1.7 million, marking a six-month low. Manufacturing saw its fewest dismissals in over five years.
