Mumbai, Oct. 29 -- Texmaco Rail & Engineering announced that Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), in exercise of Clause 12.0 (Option Clause), of the original contract, has issued an Amendment Letter dated 28 October, 2026 wherein it has increased the ordered quantity for Manufacture and Supply of BOXNS wagons from 3,400 to 4,420 (i.e. by an additional quantity of 1,020 BOXNS wagons valued at Rs. 412.32 crores) on the same price, terms and conditions as per the original contract.
