Mumbai, May 12 -- State governments collectively raised Rs 14,185.55 crore through the auction of State Government Securities (SGS) on Tuesday against the notified amount of Rs 14,500 crore. Assam and Manipur accepted lower amounts than initially indicated, while the remaining states fully subscribed to their issuances.
Assam accepted Rs 705.46 crore against the notified Rs 1,000 crore through the re-issue of 7.22% Assam SGS 2032, originally issued on 18 March 2026. The security was priced at Rs 98.13, implying a cut-off yield of 7.6192%.
Bihar raised Rs 1,600 crore through the re-issue of 7.92% Bihar SGS 2051, originally issued on 15 April 2026. The bond was accepted at a price of Rs 100.55, translating into a cut-off yield of 7.8684%....
