Mumbai, May 26 -- State governments collectively raised Rs 11,625.21 crore through the auction of State Government Securities (SGS) on Tuesday against the notified amount of Rs 13,450 crore. Bihar accepted a lower amount in one security, while Gujarat and Uttarakhand did not accept bids for select securities.

Assam raised Rs 750 crore through the re-issue of the 7.62% Assam SGS 2041 at a cut-off price of Rs 97.82, corresponding to a yield of 7.8700%.

Bihar raised a total of Rs 2,075.21 crore. The state accepted only Rs 875.21 crore against the notified Rs 1,200 crore in the re-issue of the 7.69% Bihar SGS 2035. The cut-off price for the security stood at Rs 99.29, translating into a yield of 7.8004%.
