States accept Rs 34,645 crore through SGS auction; Telangana raises Rs 7,500 crore
Mumbai, Sept. 15 -- State governments and the Union Territory of Delhi accepted Rs 34,645.055 crore through an auction of State Government Securities (SGS) held on 15 September 2026, against a notified amount of Rs 35,900 crore. A total of 16 states and the Union Territory of Delhi participated in the auction.
Haryana raised Rs 3,000 crore through two fresh securities. It raised Rs 1,000 crore through a 14-year security at a cut-off yield of 7.90% and Rs 2,000 crore through a 26-year security at 7.92%.
Kerala raised Rs 2,200 crore through two fresh securities. It raised Rs 1,000 crore through an 18-year security at 8.07% and Rs 1,200 crore through a 25-year security at 7.91%.
