Mumbai, Aug. 31 -- COMEX Silver futures are trying to stabilize around one and half week low after a sharp fall in last session. The metal slipped in tune with Gold after the US Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh that inflation is still too high and suggested the central bank may have to raise interest rates in the coming months to bring it under control. COMEX Silver lost more than 2% and fell further today though lows under $66 per ounce capped losses for the metal. It currently quotes at $67.73 per ounce, almost unchanged on the day. Silver has witnessed an impressive surge this month, rallying around 17%. MCX Silver futures are down 0.29% at Rs 241743 per kg after testing lows under Rs 239000 per kg mark today.
