Mumbai, June 8 -- The key domestic indices ended sharply lower on Monday, extending losses for a second consecutive session, in line with a broad selloff across Asian markets amid escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and a surge in crude oil prices. Investor sentiment was further weighed down by concerns over a possible interest rate hike in the United States. The Nifty ended below the 23,150 mark. Barring the healthcare index, all other sectoral indices on the NSE ended in the red.
