Selling pressure in the IT sector continued to weigh on market sentiment as investors shifted their focus to the upcoming June-quarter earnings season. Meanwhile, the market remained volatile due to the NSE's monthly derivatives expiry. The Nifty traded below the 23,950 mark. Consumer durables shares advanced after declining in the past two consecutive trading sessions.
