Mumbai, Nov. 5 -- COMEX gold and silver extend rebound on Thursday morning in Asia after Democrats swept the US midterm elections. Democrats' victory in the US midterm elections dragged the US Dollar (USD) lower to more than a one-month low on Wednesday, boosting appeal for gold. Sharp side in oil prices are also seen benefitting the precious metals. Markets will however closely monitor the US September employment data later on Friday for clues on the interest rate outlook. Currently, the yellow metal is quoting at $4146.60 an ounce, up 1.81% o the day while silver is up 1.77% at $53.21 per ounce.
