Mumbai, Oct. 23 -- Precious metals are taking heavy toll amid oil-driven inflation fears that underpin prospects for further Fed tightening. The fighting between Saudi Arabia and Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi movement has escalated sharply, leading to Houthi drone and missile strikes on the kingdom's airports and critical energy infrastructure. The focus will remain on next week's highly anticipated two-day FOMC meeting. Currently, the yellow metal is quoting at $4030.70 an ounce while silver plunged nearly 2% at $54.03 per ounce.
