Mumbai, Oct. 28 -- Gold and silver futures are seen pressured in early Asian trades on Wednesday as dollar rebounds above 102 mark ahead of much awaited Fed interest rate decision. Meanwhile, elevated oil prices are also weighing on the precious metals. Markets will also closely watch the US Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) data due on Thursday. Growing Middle East tensions adding to inflation concerns and strengthened expectations for higher interest rates are both seen keeping the yellow metal pressured. Currently, the counter is quoting at $4061.60 an ounce, down 0.32% on the day while silver is down almost half a percent at $54.27 per ounce.
