Mumbai, Aug. 24 -- COMEX gold is holding over a three-month high on Monday morning in Asia as dollar stays subdued as a sharp rise in Treasury yields heightened concerns over the US government's mounting debt burden. Meanwhile, investors continued to monitor tensions in the Middle East, with the US expected to announce new sanctions against Tehran. This could trigger further disruptions in oil movement and push energy prices higher. Markets will now focus on July PCE inflation data and Fed Chair Warsh's Jackson Hole speech for further clues on the US rate outlook. Currently, the yellow metal is quoting at $4705.10 an ounce while silver is down silver futures are down more than half a percent at $69.17 per ounce.
