Mumbai, Oct. 6 -- COMEX gold and silver are seen lingering around a two-month low on Tuesday morning in Asia as dollar accelerated gains near 102 mark. Treasury yields also climbed to fresh 24-year highs as the global bond selloff continued, driven by mounting fiscal risks and persistent inflation concerns. While softer US employment figures and diminished expectations for an October interest rate hike by the Federal Reserve provided a temporary buffer, the broader precious metals market remains under pressure. Escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East also sparked a fresh wave of safe-haven demand. The yellow metal is currently quoting at $4156.10 an ounce while silver futures are down half a percent at $60.99per ounce.
