Mumbai, Sept. 14 -- Precious metals continued to slide today as a sharp rise in crude oil prices pushed up expectations of a hike from the US Federal reserve this week. The US dollar index zoomed above 99 mark and pulled bullion counters near one month low. The COMEX Gold futures are trading at $4332 per ounce, down 1.70% on the day. COMEX silver is trading at $63.28 an ounce, down around 3% on the day. MCX Gold futures are likely to be under stres in evening trades following this. Local futures closed down marginally around Rs 152600 per 10 grams while Silver ended flat at Rs 234900 per kg.
