Mumbai, Sept. 22 -- Crude oil rebounded nearly 2% on Tuesday to trade near $94 per barrel, snapping a four-session decline as Middle East supply risks resurfaced. Saudi shipments through Hormuz showed signs of recovery, while Houthi attacks on Saudi energy infrastructure raised concerns over further production disruptions. Saudi Arabia also reported August crude output at 6.23 million barrels per day, its lowest level since 1990. Meanwhile, hopes of US-Iran diplomacy offered some restraint to the rally, with President Trump expected to engage with Iranian and Gulf leaders during the UN General Assembly. MCX October crude oil futures gained 1.1% to Rs 8,933 per barrel.
