Mumbai, Oct. 9 -- Natural Gas futures fell yesterday as rising US inventories clubbed with worries over demand in coming months capped the upside. Prices dipped from two-week high and extended corrective action today as well. The working gas in underground storage in the US stood at 3,500 billion cubic feet as of October 2, 2026, according to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) yesterday. The agency marks the net weekly increase at 85 Bcf from the prior week's level of 3,415 Bcf. The latest stocks are 130 Bcf below the level recorded a year earlier but 68 Bcf above the five-year average of 3,432 Bcf.
