Mumbai, Sept. 10 -- The net assets under the management (AUM) of the Indian mutual fund industry at the end of August 2026 stood at Rs 87.07 lakh crore, according to data from the Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI). This is higher by 1.54% as compared with the figure of Rs 85.75 lakh crore recorded in July 2026.

The AUM of open-ended plans rose to Rs 86.92 lakh crore in August 2026 from Rs 82.59 lakh crore in July. The equity plans in this category recorded net inflows of Rs 29,328.62 crore.
